The complimentary coffee and tea offered at the property was a nice touch and helped us start our day off right. The central location of the hotel made it convenient for us to explore the area and visit local restaurants and shops. Additionally, the staff was extremely helpful and accommodating, going out of their way to assist us with any needs we had.
We were disappointed that there was no breakfast option available at the hotel. It would have been nice to have at least a small fridge or microwave in the room for convenience.

The hotel could use some updates and maintenance. The rooms were clean but could be improved.

As a solo traveler, I stayed for three nights at this charming colonial hotel. The quirky layout with iron stairways and a center filled with plants gave it a unique Somerset Maugham novel feel. The friendly staff and clean, comfortable room made my stay enjoyable. The great location in downtown, at only $89 per night, was perfect for exploring the town. Rudy, the owner, was awesome and the housekeeping staff did a decent job. Parking was sometimes tight, but I always found a spot. A fantastic base for my adventure.
Totally recommend this hotel.
