During my stay over Christmas, I enjoyed two key aspects of this guest house. the location was excellent, allowing me to explore the city on foot and easily access local restaurants and shops. the interior court of the property was beautifully maintained and provided a relaxing environment.
There were a couple of downsides to my experience. the rooms felt a bit outdated, and some of the windows had mosquito screens coming away.

I recently stayed at Midtown Guest House for a week while exploring downtown St. Thomas. The location was perfect for walking to nearby attractions like the 99 steps and government buildings. Despite the initial impression of a small room and outdated bathroom, everything that mattered was excellent. The room was quiet, with effective AC and a surprisingly comfortable, albeit small, bed. The bathroom was fully functional and the blackout shutters made for a restful sleep. Additionally, the owners were kind enough to store our luggage after checkout, and Rudy went above and beyond to retrieve a forgotten bag from the airport shuttle.

Additionally, the staff was extremely helpful and accommodating, going out of their way to assist us with any needs we had.
We were disappointed that there was no breakfast option available at the hotel. It would have been nice to have at least a small fridge or microwave in the room for convenience.

The location of the guest house was also convenient, as it was close to bus and safari stops, a touristic market, and the main street. We felt safe, as the guest house is located on the border where it starts to feel a little less secure. The room itself was basic but comfortable, with a comfy bed, hot water in the shower, and effective air conditioning. it was a good choice for us, offering a simple and affordable option for a night's stay.
